I’m curious, is there anything you miss about iOS? I was sold on android from the beginning, largely because I could never afford an iPhone. I wonder what Apple does better, because I’ve never had the chance to try.

Honestly, the software is the same really… People may tell you how iOS is better than Android or how Android is better than iOS but you sort of find your way around the limitations and they are not really huge dealbreakers anyways…
However, the hardware is a different story… Apple’s hardware are a class of their own….
However, if you look at overall utility and the price of the product, I would have to say that an iPhone is never really a sane choice.

Thanks! I ended up choosing a Google Nexus 5 over a Samsung Galaxy 3 just for that price issue, and discovered that I got a better deal than even the Galaxy 4 that was way out of my price reach, so that’s comforting. There is one thing more that Apple phones have over androids, tho… Fewer viruses. Be very cautious, don’t unlock your phone unless you know how to sysadmin Linux very well, Android is the operating system the latest number of viruses are being created for. Happy androiding!
