A Simpler World The world would have been so much simpler if every question had only two possible solutions: A. Yes and B. No, instead of three possible solutions: A. Yes, B. No and C. What If?

there is only ONE possibility in love – YES!

    • anumshafique · December 1, 2014

      If only that were true.

      • Dormis Aeternitas · December 2, 2014

that’s true but people crucify love and then are surprised at the results they get… like they’re totally oblivious to the waves they have set in motion rippling out into the universe.

The beauty of this complex world is that I can both agree and disagree with what you just said… 😉

this world is complex because people make it complex. All is RELATIVE here depending on your life experience to date. You’re a woman, I expect you to disagree… 🙂

I could write that down as sexist. :p #justsaying

and that would be just something else you failed to understand. If you read my blog, you know I am a very strong advocate for women. However, men;’s brains and women’s brains do not think alike – that is a proven medical fact using MRI technology.. Exhibit A:

I do read your blog. And I must admit I was a little shocked.

However, I felt that ‘You would disagree because you are a woman’ has negative connotations and may be considered as stereotyping women.

I would indeed disagree, simply because I like to get people to prove their point to me before they start expecting my agreeability.

I am not taking offense or anything, as I said just saying, but I hope that people won’t stereotype groups of individuals based on their gender, cast, ethnicity, nationality, religion etc. I am sure you were not doing that, but still one needs to be careful.

I defend women in my own ways. My remark meant that men and women frequently do not see things the same way. In no way, do I mean that men are smarter or superior to women. And I’m more than fully aware of a saying from an Indian teacher who was very wise IMO, ‘a woman convinced against will – remains of the same opinion still.’ The problem with words is they have too many meanings. Perhaps, I should have worded my statement differently but a world free of prejudices is an ideal I gave up on a long time ago.

Words have the capacity to mean everything and nothing at the same time.

I understand what you are trying to say but as an idealist myself, I believe that if you reach for the stars, you may get to the moon. You can never stop trying! 🙂 Thank you so much as always for a thought provoking discussion Dormis.

                      Take Care.

and I hope that i didn’t hurt your feelings or insult you in any way, as that was never intended. Take care…

No you didn’t. I don’t really get hurt but such things. 🙂

                      Have a great week! 🙂
